Below is an image of one of Klaus' 100 form type slides illustrating the many different diatom forms. This image was taken by Chris Power of Carl Zeiss Limited using some really fancy equipment!
Below is an image of one of Klaus' large rosette forms consisting of 145 forms. It was taken by Jonathan Crowther using 450nm LED light with a 10x Nikon Fluor NA 0.5 objective, a Leitz Heine condenser set to dark ground and an 2.5x Nikon CF PL photoeyepiece. What an excellent image and what an impressive arrangement by Klaus!!
Here's another great image of one of Klaus' rosettes taken by Jonathan Crowther. The slide was damaged but Jonathan did an excellent restoration back to it's initial glory using digital techniques.
The following images of some of Klaus' amazing arrangements were taken by Dr. Stephen Nagy, MD.
Below is Klaus' amazing 471 form arrangement imaged by Dr. Stephen Nagy, MD. WOW is all I can say to both the arrangement and image.
